Today I am coming to you with a diaper bag review. This product was not sponsored and I bought the Skip Hop Greenwich diaper bag with my own money from Buy Buy Baby. I bought it in the color caramel and it was priced at $99.99. I was able to price match this particular diaper bag in caramel to Target’s price of the same color for $79.99. My total came to about $85.
I’ve had the bag for almost two weeks now and I absolutely love it. I researched the bag and watched a lot of reviews before making the purchase. All of the reviews seemed to have positive feedback so I decided to give it a try after waiting 2 months. After all paying over $50 for a diaper bag isn’t absolutely necessary for me.
What I Love
This bag is very spacious and I can fit so much inside it. My first time using it was when we traveled to visit family. I was able to pack diapers ( a lot) wipes, diaper cream, snacks for me, multiple bottles, nipple shields, nipple cream, breast milk containers (4 – 4 oz), changing clothes for the baby, a burp cloth, pacifiers, my wallet, charging cords, chapstick, gas drops, and my iPad. After packing those items I still had some room.
On a day to day basis I keep the basic items in the bag like diapers, wipes, diaper cream, bottles and milk, my wallet, changing clothes for the baby, and burp cloths and pacifiers. (It came with a changing mat so I keep that in there of course).
Comfort & Aesthetics
This bag is very comfortable. I love that it is a backpack and that the straps are adjustable, since I’m very short. I don’t have to worry about anything falling off my shoulder like a traditional diaper bag might do. The bag is also very structured, which O like a lot. The caramel color is beautiful! I think it’s very neutral and can go with anything I wear. I also like that it can grow with us. I can still carry this bag when she becomes a toddler and I can even use the bag for myself as a purse or work bag. I definitely believe I will get my money’s worth which is why I made the investment.
What I Don’t Like
Honestly there’s not much to dislike. The only con I can think of is that the zippers are a little hard to use with one hand. However, as the bag gets used more, the zippers may slide a little better.
Overall I am extremely pleased with this bag and I would definitely purchase it again if I needed to. Do you have a favorite diaper bag? Leave a comment below!
